For those in the industry, the benefits of MWD and directional drilling are readily apparent. In the communities that we operate the value to the citizen isn’t always obvious to the local resident. This article from the Post Independent is a case in point. I am not sure that they see the difference between one well for every ten acres vs. one rig for every ten acres.
